CHARLIE HUDSON

Charlie is an award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer, born and raised in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. In 2020, Charlie won Best Director at Point Lookout Film Festival for his short film High Street. Throughout his film career, he has also worked as a camera operator, audio engineer, and even an actor. Charlie is constantly writing, and he’s mastered the art of starting a new script before finishing the current one.

HENRIK STUBBE TEGLBJAERG

Henrik is the co-founder of the Firebird Festival and has been running the show since 2011. He is a much-loved member of the Phoenxville community and is involved in many uplifting events around town. Even when faced with negotiations with local government and novel tribulations of a post-pandemic world, his dedication to the festival is evident in every frame of the film.

DEREK WIENEKE

Derek has been a volunteer for the Firebird Festival for many years and was the lead architect for the 2021 design. He draws his inspiration from a wide range of disciplines and modeled the bird after the Great Pyramid of Giza. Having an incredibly ambitious vision while managing other building aspects proved to be a challenge for Derek, but it’s a challenge worth overcoming.

MARIANNE CALILHANNA

Marianne is a volunteer for the Firebird Festival and works tirelessly to bring sponsors and funders on board to ensure a successful event. She has always felt that the festival is a tradition that reflects the resilience and generosity of the community. When there are only weeks left, and the festival committee is down to the wire, it’s Marianne’s hard work and optimism that gets it done.
